Michael Sanders, Outside Business Development

Mike recently retired from a 40+ year career as a community banker in Tennessee, Texas, and Colorado. During that time, he was afforded the opportunity of chartering four national banks in addition to serving as the president of three other institutions.

As a community member, Mike has served on the board of directors of the United Way, local Rotary clubs, and charitable foundations. In Rotary International, he was club president, Rotarian of the Year, and a major donor. While in Colorado, he served as a volunteer deputy sheriff for Larimer County and was awarded “Reserve Deputy of the Year” twice.

Mike and his wife relocated to the Oak Tree area of Edmond where he enjoys golfing and fishing. He has recently received his Oklahoma insurance license for Property and Casualty. He looks forward to using his business and community experience in developing new business for Scott Streller’s Farmers Insurance Agency.
