John Jeffords, Operations Manager

As a native Oklahoman, born and raised in Duncan, I now live in Edmond with my wife Diana (owner of Art of Image Salon Spa), originally from Phoenix. We are a blended family...meaning if I mention OU football or a sport of any kind, she walks out of the room. I love sports and she does not! However, in the true sense of the word “blended”, we have five children between the two of us ranging in age from 18 to 33. Diana and I are known as “Lollie and Pop” to the one and only granddaughter. My hobbies center around piano, gardening and Braum’s Ice Cream. My insurance career began with The New York Life Insurance Company as a Life Insurance Agent and a Registered Representative for NYLife Securities. I specialized in Retirement and Estate Planning. I was later offered an opportunity to open a Shelter Insurance Agency in Duncan, Oklahoma and that later grew into a role as an Oklahoma District Manager for the company.

My experience as an agent and as a manager of agents, has given me the opportunity to see both sides of the industry. Those experiences have allowed me to take on numerous roles at The Scott Streller Agency. My main responsibility is the development and training of a sales team utilizing Agency Producers and Protege’ Agents. I believe strongly in the culture that Scott has created over the years. We counsel and advise our clients thoroughly before and after the sale. We believe in writing exceptionally good coverage. Our philosophy is that if a client understands value, premium is not the main concern.
